The Boston Beer Company is a brewer founded in 1984. Boston Beer Company's first brand of beer was named Samuel Adams after Founding Father Samuel Adams,[3] an American revolutionary patriot. The company launched Angry Orchard brand hard ciders in 2012.
The Boston Beer Company is the fourth largest brewery in the United States, being available in most of the 50 states. It shares are in consistently ranked in the Top 15 most expensive stocks listed on the NYSE, NASDAQ, or S&P500 as of December 2020 at nearly $1000 a share.[4]
